After the initial two phase study DeVon Tolson Architecture, Inc. was hired to convert the existing armory structure into a community center. The center contains a large multipurpose space, exercises classrooms, art classrooms, and continuing education classrooms. The large multipurpose space can be used as a gym, auditorium, or banquet facility. A warming kitchen, storage and new toilet facilities were added to support the activity rooms.
