DeVon Tolson Architecture provided site development, architectural, structural and engineering services for this $600,000 design/build project. With a team of experienced consultants, DTA developed the project to meet the expectations of the owner, as well as the standards of the City of Raleigh and the North Carolina Division of Facility Services.
The work included a design to locate the building on the site in such a way that would permit the practice in an existing building to remain active. The new 4,000 square foot building sits off the road to accommodate the existing building, while also satisfying the owner’s desire for patient privacy and security. The previous building was demolished once the new building was completed.
The design of the new building utilizes simple building systems to bring the project within the owner’s budget and desires.
